Biometric & Sensitive Data

Biometric data includes facial geometry and fingerprint templates collected for access control and surveillance systems. We handle this data under the following principles:

  • Notice & consent — Collected only after providing notice and obtaining written consent where required by law.
  • Limited purpose — Used solely to verify or identify individuals for enabled security functions. Never used for marketing or profiling.
  • No sale — We do not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from biometric identifiers or biometric information.
  • Limited disclosure — Disclosed only with consent, to complete requested transactions, or as required by law or legal process.
  • Retention & destruction — Retained only as long as necessary; destroyed within specified timeframes after purpose completion or relationship end.
  • Protection — Stored and transmitted using a reasonable standard of care, at least as protective as our treatment of other confidential information.

Certain states impose additional requirements that supplement these protections.

07

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and understand Site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Where required, we present a cookie banner or preference tool for non-essential cookies.

We honor browser-based opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) where legally required. We do not guarantee a response to "Do Not Track" signals, which have no common industry standard.

08

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide Services, maintain systems, comply with legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type — for example, video footage is retained for a limited rolling window, while account records are kept for the duration of our relationship plus a reasonable period thereafter. Biometric data is governed by Section 06.

09

Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, calibrated to the sensitivity of the data involved.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your system credentials, passcodes, and access codes, and for notifying us promptly if you suspect any compromise.
